What Is Breath Work?

Breath Work is a healing technique that supports deep transformation of the body and the soul. The participant is guided by their breath, moving their consciousness into the body, the heart center and cellular memory. It is a heart-centered healing process through the physical and energetic bodies not the intellect. This specific breath technique allows the client to enter a deeper state of consciousness. Once in this deeper state, the cellular memory guides the client through a process of self-discovery, healing and unification with lost parts of self or soul.

How does it work?

The breath work facilitator creates a grounded, sacred space for the client to relax and focus on the connected breath. The client lies comfortably on a massage table or mat, closes his eyes and focuses his attention on this breath technique. The facilitator coaches the client on how to breathe and where to guide the breath. Soon the client enters an altered state in which the intellect and ego are not present. As the client enters his cellular memory, an energetic bridge is created between the present and the past. As the client and facilitator allow their consciousness to cross the bridge, they begin to receive information from the past in the form of images, sounds, sensations, feelings and knowing. The client describes the experience to the facilitator who is witnessing the memory and supporting the process. The client relives the memory with emotion and physical sensation as if it were happening in the moment. The facilitator keeps him grounded in the present as the past is re-experienced, re-examined, re-evaluated and completed with compassion and clarity. The energy of the client’s past is completely collected and is received through the bridge into the physical body. As the energy is integrated into the present, a transformation occurs within the client’s body, cellular memory and soul.

The benefits of breath work include connecting more deeply with your breath, becoming more conscious of your breath, healing energetic blocks or patterns in your body, reclaiming lost parts of self and integrating particles of soul stuck in past lives.

The results of breath work may include the following:

Releasing trauma from the body
Breaking old patterns, programs or beliefs
Breaking unhealthy connections in this lifetime
Eliminating recurring dreams or nightmares
Understanding odd connections to people, places or things
Rebirthing
Releasing anesthesia or toxins from your cells
Feeling more integrated
Feeling more present
