Tips on how to handle stress:

1. Breathe. The breath is the most important thing in life! Without the breath there is no life. Take long slow rhythmic breathes. This will help slow things down as well as relax the body, the brain and the nervous system

2. Exercise. Exercise is one of the best stress-reducers. It improves your health, relaxes tense muscles, and helps keep focus on the breath. Exercise helps move waste products, speeds up the blood flow, and allows endorphins to be released that help give a euphoric feeling of happiness and well-being.

3. Meditation. Meditation is an excellent method of relaxation. It slows the breathe, lowers blood pressure, and helps with clear thinking, helps with concentration and focus and aides in letting go of stressful thoughts.

4. Get enough sleep. This is the time when the body and brain re-boot. Detoxification and restoration take place while we are sleeping. This aides in better cognitive thinking and muscle regeneration. Try going to bed earlier with your bodies natural rhythm.

5. Talk to someone. Build a support group. Whether a friend or a professional, talking with
someone can be healing. It can help alleviate the intensity of stress. Talking with some one can act as a buffer, reducing the negative impact of a stressful event
